Binary Watch is a Do-it-yourself project using ATmega8. This kit provides allows you to assemble, test and re-program.
|
This is re-programmable project. Thus you may write your own code into it. (You will require ISP Programmer for ATmega8, its not included)
|
It retains (remembers) the time even if the 9V battery is disconnected.

| Sections on-board |
- Main PCB - This PCB holds ATmega8, DS1307, Switches Battery holder for CR2032 battery and 5V regulator.
- LED PCB - This PCB holds the SMD LEDs to show the time.
- Binary Watch requires one 3V CR2032 battery for Real Time Clock and one 9V battery for the main supply.
- These batteries are not included in the pack.
- The Main PCB has one 6 pin connector for ISP Programming.
- Use three switches from the Main PCB to Show time, Enter into the time setting mode and to set/adjust the time.
- The ATmega8 included with the pack is pre-programmed with Binary Watch firmware. Thus your Binary Watch starts functioning as you power up using the 9V battery.
